The Family Behind Redcliffe Treehouse

Every welcoming place has a story, and Redcliffe Treehouse is no exception.

Created by Cei Heck and brought to life with the support of her family, Redcliffe Treehouse has always been about more than opening the doors to a café or retail space. It was built around a belief that everyone deserves somewhere they feel welcome, supported and connected.

Together with her husband Barrie, whose practical skills helped transform the vision into reality, and her daughter Abi, who continues to play an important role in daily business, the family has created a place that reflects the values they live every day: kindness, flexibility, inclusion and community.

Those values continue to shape every decision made at the Treehouse, from creating welcoming spaces where people feel comfortable staying a little longer, to supporting local makers, authors, community groups and small businesses.

For the family, Redcliffe Treehouse isn't simply somewhere to visit. It's somewhere they hope people will feel they belong.
